New Organic

Developing series of polyester works, I wanted to explore the possibilities of creating a pseudoscience, and therefore attempted to overlap the fine line between art and science. Following the well determined rules of science , as well as using the scientific agar plates, my idea was to present utterly artificial forms and follow their development as an organic cells. Knowing that in agar plates every organic form tends to reproduce itself and colonize the newly engaged environment in order to maintain it’s existence, I used the same material , polyester mixed with catalyst , in different amounts which responded in varsity but behaving in the very same way as any other organic structure.
